Today Alistair is working coloured pencils into pieces of wood found on our site. He is especially good at creating texture by pressing down hard with the pencils onto the wood.

Michael is having great fun making Angels from old books. Watch this space for this developing work for the students Exhibition at the end of the year.

Wednesday 19 June 2013

Today we have a new member of the Art group; Paul. He has never drawn before but is doing very well creating "Brenda's" greenhouse with pencil and coloured pencils.

James  creates another one of his fabulous detailed drawings, he leaves nothing out!

Jamie has been inspired by a balloon he saw early this morning. He has been learning new techniques with the painting brush and using them to great effect!

Wednesday 12 June 2013

Caroline has a real eye for colour and circles. She  has been drawing on slate today combining the bright coloured tones of pencils.

Willow has been the chosen material of the day. The students harvested the willow from our supply on site here at Horticap. They have bound and bended the branches together making open shapes to weave through. Mark has really got into the swing of it!

Pat is a real wiz at weaving and doing intricate work, i think we will be developing her thoughtful out work further!

Fraiser loves drawing Gremlins and playing the fool. His willow turns into a crown!
