Its been a busy morning as we had a visit from Horticap's patron Alan Titchmarsh. He spent some time admiring the students art work. Carl was silk painting one of the silk scarves we sell in our shop and Alison, Alan's wife was really interested in the process of how he creates them.
Horticap is a small garden centre and nursery for adults with learning difficulties. This blog shows art work created by students who take part in a weekly workshop run by Carol Sowden. The students are encouraged to express themselves within this creative environment, building on their individual talents and visual/verbal communication.
