Making & drawing with charcoal

The students have been working with Johnathan Pound who is a Woodland Craft expert. Here you can see them making charcoal and drawing with the charcoal material they produced.

Students Hannah & Carl were asked to interpret this painting of a sunflower by silk painting onto silk scarves. All the silk scarves produced are available to buy in the Horticap shop.

Being creativity with silk painting.

Student Vicky tied string around this silk scarf and painted the indentations she produced a beautiful pattern.
