Busy busy!!

The students have been extremely productive today. Carl has been continuing his painting talents making silk painted scarves to sell in our shop







Our newest student Connor has been making hand made Christmas decorations. The stars he has been making are to put on the top of Christmas trees!

Wheels, wheels,wheels !

The students have been decorating old bicycle wheels ready for the Tour de France event.

Recycled Laptop bags!

Student Caroline at the sewing machine recycling donated laptop bags. On sale in our shop at the fantastic  price of £2.99. A real bargain!

 
 

Drawing, sewing ,knitting!

Caroline is starting one of the first pictures for our drawing competition. Form 19th July everyone who visits Horticap will be able to take part. Watch this space for more details.
 


Paula has a real talent for knitting and is making a scarf Dr Who would be proud of!

Success at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show!

Horticap was awarded the Silver Guilt Award for the 30th Anniversary garden. There has been a massive team effort from staff, students and volunteers to produce the garden The students fence has been a real success and is the highlight of the garden. Well done to all students involved your creative talents have done you proud.

The fences are now attached and ready to be placed within the show garden . Thanks to Andy Lawrence for a great job!


 
 



Fence Project

Over the past few months the students have been taking part in a project to produce their individual fence sections. These will contribute to the Horticap show garden at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show.
